Came across a wonderful site for f 'sharp'  . It was really close to home when it comes to learning something such wonderful.

http://www.tryfsharp.org/Learn/advanced-programming#

Wrox.com has a Professional F#2.0 book that I found in the library. Gulping through it to get to the first utilization of this wonderful language. I came across LINQ  a complete year ago and in the mean time I have some projects loaded and compiled here and there { yeah the usual Projects folder in VS that get marauded with tresspassers from around the world . ).

I have a mini project in the side where I use F# to help me compile complex data in one liners. It is a LINQPAD with capabilities and language constructs that are not new to the world. If programmers who started early can quote , they will all bet their ATARIs  on the fact that Functional Programming was here to stay . It was years ago, somewhere in the 1955s that ML was sprouting and doing good. Over the years, it has now come to a point where technologies like .net and C# 5.0 are increasing the breadth of Programming Languages to systems that are near to the machine and on the other hand supporting FP. I am super happy to have realized the power of F# at a time where I really require it.

Regarding the above site

MSR sites are always a delight when it comes to browsing and them and putting them to use. The pattern matching chapter is extremely good . I loved it.
