We are currently investigating issues with Application Insights. Since February 26th, approximately 15 of newly-created accounts per day are in a state where the account owner is not properly authorized and may experience errors on some of Application Insights pages, including inability to generate instrumentation keys. We understand the root cause and DevOps are actively working to develop and test the fix, which we plan to implement on Monday, March 3rd.
Workaround: A temporary mitigation for this issues is to login to your Visual Studio Online account with a user that is part of your account but isn’t the owner. All non-owner account can use Application Insights without any impact.
We will provide another update on Monday after the fix is validated in production.
