SharePoint 2013, SP1 and Slipstreaming

Service Pack 1 for SharePoint 2013 has been released. This includes all previous bug fixes released in the CUs. It also enables the ability for folks to use Windows Server 2012 R2. In a previous post, I explained how to slipstream a service pack into a SharePoint build. Unfortunately, that process will not work for SP1 and SharePoint 2013. If you want to install SP2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2, you will have to wait for us to build the bits with SP1 included. Due to a package change in March 2013, slipstreaming work work. For more FAQs on Service pack 1, check out Stefan's blog.
