We have been able to track down the root cause of the performance degradation to a bug, which caused thread lock contention. The bug was introduced during the VSO service update earlier today and caused by our Application Insights Service. We had mitigated the issue by rolling back the deployment we applied earlier today to VSO services. At this point, customers should not experience any issues while using VSO services. We are working on fixing the bug and resuming the service update after that. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while working on finding the root cause and a fix. We will provide an update as soon as we identify a fix.
